Hong Kong!

We made it to Hong Kong! It was actually a very smooth day of travel and Liam and Cade did great, even if they got a little loopy at the end.

Today we had an amazing breakfast, Liam jad a little latte to get over jet lag, and then we took a cable car up to the top of Victoria's Peak to enjoy the views over the city.

After the cable car, we took a subway over to the "Big Buddha" statue and rode a glass bottomed cable car up to the top. Calling it the "big" Buddha is kind of like saying Shaquille O'Neal is a little on the tal side. That sucker is HUGE!

I guess this means no bacon old fashioneds

Now we are heading put to dinner and the night market. Tomorrow we take the train to Guangzhou, and then Monday we get Alexa!

  3. Ok, so Liam may have needed a latte (love the heart in the foam!) after the flight........but I want to know how you fared on the flight from BNA to Minneapolis (I've finally forgotten the airport code for Minneapolis...the joys of retirement). Wow, you all are about to get on the train to Alexa's town as I type!!! In 24 hours this little girl is going to be swept off her feet by such a great family!!!! I get teary-eyed thinking about it! Can't wait for the next update. xoxox
